January 2012. Tie-backs for my dining room window side panels.
I sewed a pair of side panels for my dining room windows already two years ago and had been wanting to make nice tie-backs ever since. I desired something a bit fancier than the normal braided ropes. So, when I saw an article in the "Sew Beautiful" magazine a few good months ago, I knew, this was what I was going to copy. Again, it took a while to get started, but now they are ready. The best part of it all is that I did not buy any materials what so ever, all I needed for embroidering, piping, and sewing, I had at home, even the hooks.
