May 2016. Matching nightgowns for my daughter (Simplicity 1571) and her doll Isabel (McCall's 3627). 

 

April 2015. A softball uniform for Saara's doll Sadie. I used McCall's pattern 6904. The only adjustment I made was lengthening the pant legs. 

January 2014. A dress for Saara's doll. From the leftover fabric from Saara's dress, I made her favorite doll a similar dress for Valentine's Day. McCall's 4338

 January 2014. A ballet dress and slippers for Saara's favorite doll. I used McCall's pattern 4338 as the foundation for the dress. I had to make a few changes to the pattern to ensure the dress fit well.

I found the patterns for the slippers on Pinterest. As the original pattern was meant for the American Girl dolls, I had to adjust it to Saara's doll's measurements.

December 2013. Another doll dress for Saara's favorite 'baby'. I had fabric left over from another dress project and with some spare time at hand whipped up one more pint size garment. Saara loves that her dress matches her doll's now. Pattern: Simplicity #1937.

December 2013. A knitted dress and a head band for Saara's new doll. This pretty Christmas present came wearing a flimsy summer dress (very cute though) and looked totally underdressed for our winter weather. So, out came the knitting needles and two nights later the new doll should feel much cozier around here now. I did not use any pattern, just did my best to follow the measurements of the original dress. And it worked!

The same with the headband - no pattern. I fiddled around until I was happy with the result.

 August 2013. If Saara has a new skirt, a Barbie doll needs one too. 

July 2013. Saara asked me to make a dress for her favorite Barbie doll. I used Simplicity 5785 and some fabric scraps left over from making Saara's dress. It is a good pattern and I am very encouraged to make more doll dresses now. I am sure, Saara would be very happy.

November 2012. A knitted sweater and denim pants for Saara's doll. It is another 'knock-off' project. 

It was much easier to embroider than to knit the snowflake motif.

July 2012. A crochet dress for a 18" doll. Pattern from Annie's Attic catalog.

 July 2012. A dress and a hat for an 18" doll. The pattern originates from the Annie's Attic catalog. The dress has a crochet bodice and fabric skirt, the darling hat is crochet.

July 2011. A new dress for Saara's Barbie doll. I downloaded the pattern from "Sew Beautiful" magazine's web bonus page. The fabric and trim are leftovers from other sewing projects.
